The Federal Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research in Davos in Switzerland collates central statistics on avalanches and this information is very important to us for further research and development of the ABS product. If you have been in a situation where you have had to activate your ABS Avalanche Airbag in an emergency situation, please report the activation to us and we will pass the information on for use in these statistics. You can request a questionnaire directly from ABS or download it from our website.
If you have been in an avalanche and activated your system we will replace your cartridge and handle at no charge. Please complete and sign the questionnaire and send it directly to the Swiss Avalanche Institut or send it with the used handle and cartridge to your respective ABS service center.
