How do I measure my torso length?

To find the right size, your torso length is crucial. You can measure this at home yourself. To do this, locate the two measuring points on your back. When you tilt your head slightly forward toward your chest, you'll feel a vertebra protruding on your spine. That's your C7, the first measuring point. From here, measure the distance to the top edge of your hip bone. Using this length and the table provided above, you can determine the correct size of your ABS backpack.

The A.LIGHT E 18 Liter is a lightweight ABS airbag backpack designed for freeriding or ski touring. It is equipped with the electric E2 system from Alpride - the market leader among electric airbags. This rescue system is quick and intuitive to operate and fills a large mono airbag with an impressive 162-liter volume in the event of an avalanche.

The innovative electric A.LIGHT E airbag system can be tested at any time and is quickly charged via USB-C. When fully charged, the standby time is approximately 3 months (depending on the type of batteries inserted), making it suitable for multi-day tours.

This electric avalanche backpack meets the highest airbag standards; it is lightweight, modular, travel-friendly (no restrictions in air travel), and environmentally friendly (no cartridge required). With its zip-on system for larger ABS pack bags, it can also be used for multi-day tours with more luggage.

A thoughtful strap system allows for easy attachment of additional equipment such as skis, poles, ice axes, or ropes. The helmet can be secured with the integrated helmet net. The easily accessible safety compartment accommodates a shovel, probe, and first aid kit. The ergonomic backpack back, clear equipment, and durable materials make this ABS backpack a comfortable and potentially life-saving touring companion in emergencies.
