Avalanche backpack for freeride tours or shorter ski tours: The proven system of the A.LIGHT TOUR SOLID 18 L AIRBAG has been used by mountain guides and mountain rescuers for decades. A pyrotechnic mechanism works in all weather conditions and deploys quickly and easily in the event of an avalanche. Two airbags are inflated independently of each other. The twin airbags are adjusted to the body's centre of gravity and ensure an optimized position in the avalanche in an emergency. And if one airbag is damaged during an avalanche, there is a second one in reserve. The leg loop on the airbag prevents the rucksack from being pulled over the head or off the body in the event of an avalanche.

The avalanche backpack can be used with either steel or carbon cartridges. The release handle is protected against unintentional release by Velcro and can also be removed completely to prevent false release. The 18 liter pack sack has an easily accessible safety compartment for shovel, probe and first aid kit. Additional equipment such as skis, poles, ice axe or rope can be attached to the flexible strap system. The helmet can be stored under an integrated helmet net.

Thanks to its zip-on system for different sized ABS pack sacks, this avalanche backpack can also be used for longer tours with larger ABS pack sacks.

The ergonomically shaped ABS body contact back ensures optimum carrying comfort in the backcountry. The durable, water-repellent material and well thought-out features make this ABS backpack a long-lasting and often life-saving ski touring companion in an emergency.
